Privacy Policy – Subrdr

This Privacy Policy applies to the Subrdr website (subrdr.com) and the Subrdr Chrome extension, both operated by Loophead Labs LLC ("we", "us", or "our").
We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data Subrdr collects, how it is used, and your rights regarding that data.
1. General Policy Overview
We do not collect personally identifiable information (PII) beyond what is required to operate the service. Most Subrdr data is either stored locally on your device (in the case of the Chrome extension) or handled securely by third-party service providers.
When you create a Subrdr account, we collect your email address and a password hash so you can sign in. We also store the content you create in the app (keywords, tracked subreddits, rules, templates, and drafts) so the service can function.
Subrdr reads only publicly available Reddit content based on the subreddits and keywords you configure. We do not access private Reddit accounts and we never post, comment, vote, or otherwise interact with Reddit on your behalf.
2. The Subrdr Chrome Extension
The Subrdr Chrome extension highlights posts on reddit.com that match keywords you configure. It is designed to minimize data collection:
- Your keyword list is stored locally on your device using
chrome.storage.local. It never leaves the browser unless you explicitly link a Subrdr account. - The extension only reads page content on reddit.com. It does not run on any other website.
- The extension does not include analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising code of any kind.
- If you connect a Subrdr account, the extension stores a connection token locally and fetches your recent matches from our servers. You can disconnect at any time from the extension popup, which immediately deletes the token from your browser.
You can use the Chrome extension entirely offline from our servers. No account, no login, no data sent to subrdr.com. Account linking is optional.
3. Third-Party Services
Subrdr uses a small number of third-party services to operate. These providers process data only on our behalf, and each has its own privacy policy:
- Supabase: hosted PostgreSQL database and authentication infrastructure.
- Vercel: hosting and request-level logs for subrdr.com and its APIs.
- Stripe: payment processing for paid plans. We do not store your credit card details.
- Reddit's public API: used to fetch publicly visible posts in the subreddits you track.
- AI providers (such as Anthropic or OpenAI): used to generate optional AI-assisted drafts and insights. Only the content required to perform a requested task is sent; we never send account credentials or payment information.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share user data with advertisers.
4. Children's Privacy
Subrdr is not directed at children under 13 and is not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.
5. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed passwords and access tokens, access controls, and secure cloud infrastructure. Data is handled in accordance with industry-standard security practices and is never sold to third parties.
No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we work to safeguard your data.
6. Account Deletion & Your Rights
You may request deletion of your Subrdr account and associated data at any time by emailing dev@loopheadlabs.com. Some anonymized or aggregated data may remain for internal analytics.
To remove the Chrome extension's local data, uninstall the extension from chrome://extensions. This immediately clears your stored keywords and any connection token from your browser.
7. Policy Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy as Subrdr evolves. Changes will be posted at this URL and reflected by the Effective Date above. Continued use of Subrdr signifies acceptance of the updated policy.
